Child exploitation charges

11 Jun, 2008 09:16 AM
A 43-year-old Mount Isa male charged with 33 counts of possessing child exploitation material had his case adjourned in the Mount Isa Magistrates Court yesterday.

Lloyd Dwayne Campbell was charged with the offences on May 15, 2007 as part of Queensland Police Service’s Task Force Argos.

Task Force Argos was also responsible for the recent arrests of more than 40 Queensland residents on 133 charges relating to the possession and distribution of child exploitation images.

Mr Campbell, who is on bail, will have his charges mentioned again in the Magistrates Court on December 12.

Mr Campbell did not have to enter a plea on the 33 charges.
