Cup fever strikes North West

04 Nov, 2009 07:43 AM
ACROSS Mount Isa and the North West thousands partied for Melbourne Cup Day.

While there were no race meets in Mount Isa or Cloncurry – that didn’t stop locals from dressing up to the nines for the race that stopped the nation.

Like many other party goers, Terri Purkis, Jennifer Holmes and Louise Rose, pictured, had a lovely day out for the occasion. They celebrated at Livingstone’s Restaurant in Mount Isa.
