 Where to for scouts?

Where to for scouts?

03 Jul, 2009 10:05 AM
PUBLIC expressions of interest are expected to be called for the takeover of the Lions Youth Camp at Lake Moondarra in the upcoming weeks.

The camp site was officially closed on Tuesday after the operators, Mount Isa Water Board, claimed it was a significant cost burden to the organisation.

Scouts of the Air youth program support region Commissioner Jenny Staddon said it was disappointing the camp site that had been used by the group for more than three decades was no longer available.
