From Devonport to Darwin, Brisbane to Bunbury and everywhere in between, the funniest thing on wheels will be causing a ruckus as it cruises into Mount Isa on May 15 with the aim to spread some silliness.
The Melbourne Comedy Festival roadshow spokeswoman said this year’s line up reflected the range and diversity of acts.
“The crowd acts ranging from stand-up to musical and sketch comedy will feature names such as Bob Franklin, Cal Wilson, Justin Hamilton, Lawrence Mooney, Mike Wilmot, DeAnne Smith, Joel Creasey, Dave Callan, Tommy Dean, Dave Williams, Felicity Ward, and 2011 RAW winner Dayne Rathbone,” the spokeswoman said.
Seven from the group of comedians will feature in Mount Isa; Harley Breen, Kurt Braunohler and Felicity Ward have already confirmed and another two acts are yet to be set in concrete.
“It’s a road trip on funny juice disguised as a national tour,” the spokeswoman said.
“Why not come along for the ride.”
Tickets are on sale now for the May 15 Melbourne Comedy Festival roadshow at the Mount Isa Civic Centre.
