In the B grade clash between Atlas B and Parkside Rangers, young midfielder Oregon Mnangami gave Atlas B a 1-0 advantage late in the first half through a pinpoint accurate shot at goal.
Both teams worked hard in defence to keep the score unchanged until midway through the second half when Parkside Rangers found the back of the net to equalise.
In an already tough encounter, the locked score line put pressure on the teams and forced them to rise to a new level in order try and break the deadlock.
Atlas B found its second - and match-winning - goal in the closing passage of the game when a cross into the six-yard box found the head of Sean Vaughan, who did his part by sailing the ball into the back of the net.
The 2-1 victory handed Atlas B the silverware and also kept the team's unbeaten B grade record intact.
Concordia A and Atlas A matched up in the A grade Presidents Cup game, with the former scoring early after capitalising on a defensive error.
The goal proved to be a wake-up call for Atlas A and the team increased its intensity, managing to work the ball strongly through the midfield
Joey Campbell and Andrew Fraser set up several opportunities but were unable to convert them into goals, but Atlas A finally found the back of the net off striker Nick Diamond's head.
Both teams came out firing after half-time and had chances to get ahead on the scoreboard but were unable to beat goalkeepers Adrian Morrisby and Blain McCormack.
Matt Reed and Ray Bradbury added to the Atlas A defensive wall and made it almost impenetrable, keeping out run after run at goal by the Concordia A forwards.
Atlas A midfielder Hugo Taye was impressive in both defence and attack and rewarded for his classy skills with a goal late in the second half, giving his team a 2-1 win and adding another Presidents Cup to Atlas Football Club's trophy cabinet.
