Coordinator Lisa Hurst said she hasn't had a chance to collate the final fundraising figures, but said the night met its two main goals.
"The focus was on raising money for the house by celebrating the Mount Isa community," she said.
"We do expect our figures to be down a little bit but its just about engaging the community and putting on a good night for them."
Mrs Hurst said the standout event of the night was a performance by secret guest group, The Three Waiters.
"The group posed as waiters at the start at the night, serving people drinks and doing all the things you would normally expect a waiter to do," she said.
"Then it turns out that they are opera singers and end up doing this opera duel with one another.
"The fact that they took everyone by surprise and had such a good time with the crowd - that's what people are probably raving about today."
A hand-painted backdrop and archway, complete with sprayed foam bricks and an intricate wrought iron gateway, helped immerse guests in the fun and fantastical world of Willy Wonka.
Mrs Hurst said the work put into the event from everyone involved made the night an outstanding success.
"We were all in a great mood and people came ready to have great night," she said.
