Before the seniors battle it out in the semi-final, the juniors will take the field from 8am at Townview State School for the much-awaited grand final.
While both teams will be determined to win, Mount Isa junior cricket volunteer Tracey Jones said competition wasn't at the forefront.

"They just all love playing cricket."
Stars like Adam Moes, Jack Maye, Jeremy Germaine and Callum Jones are just some of the big names on show.
Following the match, both junior and B-grade will host their presentation evenings at the hockey fields.
