PILIPINAS have jumped to fourth place on the ladder after a narrow six-point win over Pandamonium in round six of the Mount Isa Basketball Association's Skytrans Mens A-grade competition.

Led by Tyr Ibardolaza, (17), and Phil Ibardolaza, (11), Pilipinas were able to come away with a 47-41 win and move just one point shy of the Mavericks in third place.
Levi Laurie topped the scoring for Pandamonium with 17-points, while Joel Bates added 10, but the team had too few contributors.
Home Boiz had a dominate shooting display against the Mavericks, sinking their opponents by a whopping 37-points.
Bruce Garvie and Aaron Quilty were huge for the Home Boiz, adding 37, as their team easily won 66-29.
Jim Laya played a lone hand for the Mavericks with a team-high 15 points.
The final A-grade fixture of the evening saw the Blazers continue their unbeaten run, defeating Celtics by 17-points.
The Blazers shared the scoring evenly as Joseph Mackay, Raymond Browning and Jade Geary combined for 40-points in the 62-45 win.
Aaron Polkinghorne (14), and Jericho Young (13), tried hard for the Celtics, but it wasn't enough.
Campbells Men B-grade competition saw Kinetic on the right side of a one-point thriller.
Led by Young with a game-high 15, Kinetic clinched the narrow 32-31 victory over the Renegades to record their first win of the season.
Caleb Tofinga added 13 for the Renegades as they slipped to third.
Melcon Repaso had the hot hand for Manila in their 47-34 win over Miras.
Repaso scored a round-high 19 points despite the best efforts Miras's Robert Tolcher (15), and Derek Collinson (11).
Blazers B took the points in their match due to VB forfeiting.
