EASTER came early to Mount Isa on Saturday morning, when 2013 Rodeo Queen Quest entrant Irena Paznikov hosted her Easter Family Fun Day at Outback at Isa. Children of all ages gathered for craft activities, games, races and the most important part of the day, the Easter egg hunt.

Jacob Takurit from MobFM provided the music to entertain the crowd, while the team from Centacare cooked a delicious breakfast of bacon and egg rolls.
Xanda Chiauzzi was excited for the hunt, although he was a bit nervous about the very pink jumping castle while Stepheny Reddish couldn’t wait to have a go. Reilly Hornberg, 17 months, was so excited about the Easter egg hunt, he got almost no sleep on Friday night.
Fred Brophy’s boxer Levi Page was there with his wife Julie and daughters Fay and Matilda.
Nikki Owen and Stephanie Campbell worked hard at the races, handing out stickers and other prizes.
Petrece Dwyer-Sayers and son Archie were visiting family from Townsville and enjoyed the opportunity for a fun morning out.
Two birthdays were celebrated, with Bentley Bayntum turning one and Nyobi Hinder celebrating her fifth birthday on Saturday.
Everyone’s favourite guest, the Easter Bunny, arrived amidst much excitement and conducted an Easter egg hunt through Outback Park.
