With eight players missing due to illness and work commitments, the team did well to field a side and both teams ran onto the paddock with only 10 players.
After peppering the Atlas goalkeeper with more than six attempts in the first opening 20 minutes of play, Isaroos finally broke through when Ashlynn Cutforth took a shot from the 18-yard box and caught the opposition napping.
Despite having the majority of possession in the opening half, strong defence from Atlas 2 restricted the Isaroos outfit to a 1-0 lead at half-time.
The team came out firing when play resumed and Molly Lancashire didn't take long to find the back of the net, finally breaking a long drought near the goal mouth to put her team 2-0 in front.
While Atlas 2 never gave up, the team lifted a gear in the final 20 minutes of play and launched several attacking blitzes but was unable to find a hole in the Isaroos' back line.
Finding defensive holes wasn't an issue for Farlow, as she capitalised on great crosses from her teammates to slot two goals and hand victory to Isaroos.
Atlas 1 had better luck in round 14, chalking up a 4-1 victory against International.
In an evenly-matched encounter, Atlas 1 made the most of possession to take an early lead and scored freely through open play in the midfield and forward line.
In appallingly-cold conditions, both teams showed moments of brilliance but International was unable to close the gap on the scoreboard, allowing Atlas 1 to take valuable competition points.
A spokeswoman for International said despite the loss, it was a big effort from the team.
"The whole team lifted really well for the game; we all just gelled," she said.
"Christine Storey went off injured at half-time but came back on to help the team out and scored a fantastic goal."
Parkside have taken outright second on the 2012 ladder after defeating Tigers 2-0.
Parkside started strongly and pushed the ball around and finally broke through on the scoreboard when Brooke Giardina got through the defence and past the Tigers goalkeeper to find the back of the net.
Leading 1-0, Parkside took a corner kick minutes before full-time and took advantage of unmarked players to score its second goal and claim victory.
