In the first of four rounds, the big major players - Rob Murphy, Manu Ruri, Matt Briant and Dan Horskins - will be out to consolidate a solid first round.
As the defending champion, Briant will be the golfer to beat in an open field of 80 players.
Murphy has always shown enough talent and composure to last the test of stamina over the four rounds.
Players capable of producing low scores, but not expected to have the consistency over the 72 holes include Grant Poole, Jamie McGregor, Jamie Stewart and Andrew Richardson.
The B-grade is tipped to be a more open affair with Tom Fangrath, John Lodwyck and Peter Griffin in very good form at the right time, and junior players Jacob Smith and Sam Bellinger sure to be in contention.
Strong winds throughout the day and into the weekend are expected to cause havoc with golfers.
The tournament will be decided on Sunday afternoon.
