Adrenalin-loving rodeo fans can get a birds' eye view this year, by tandem skydiving from 12,000 feet above the show.
Rodeo manager Donna Kuskopf said it used to be a tradition at the previous rodeo grounds, and she was excited to see it come back on offer.
"Any diehard rodeo fan that wants to jump out of a perfectly good plane can do it this year," she said.
It will set you back $459, with a $200 non-refundable deposit required.
Anyone wishing to keep there feet on the ground were welcome to volunteer.
Sporting and community groups are encouraged to apply and Mrs Kuskopf said people need not worry if they do not have huge numbers.
"Group sizes from five people and up are encouraged to volunteer, as well as single volunteers," she said.
"There is plenty of work available for everyone."
Mrs Kuskopf said the Rodeo Queens were doing a fantastic job around the city and the excitement was definitely building.
"There is 114 days to rodeo and this month the momentum is picking up and you can hear the excitement in people's voices," she said.
Some big announcements will be made this year about the entertainment for 2013 and Mrs Kuskopf said the musical acts would be a popular choice.
"The voice we have coming as our headline act has just won a few awards at the recent CMC Awards, any country music fans out there will have a good guess at who that is."
