Both teams found the back of the net in the second half, with Isaroos coming agonisingly close to claiming the three points with a last minute Lauren Flanigan strike.
Flanigan's shot hit the cross bar flush in the middle, deflecting away before the referee finally whistled time.
Both teams collected their breath in one of the more memorable Mount Isa Soccer Association women's competition encounters this season.
Missing two of their stars, Isaroos looked to pass the ball around early in what turned out to be a nine-a-side match.
They did so with great effect and precision, demonstrating the qualities of a well-drilled team, refusing to blaze away with long aimless kicks.
Parkside's defence proved resilient as ever, holding strong to deny Isaroos.
Offensively, Parkside used their speed up front to make threatening breakaways and run into the plethora of space ahead.
Jacqui Rysanek did just that, racing away to score the first goal of the match midway through the second half.
It looked as though Parkside would hang on for the victory, but a questionable offside ruling created just the opening Isaroos needed.
The free kick was taken quickly, enabling Jade Carter the space through midfield to sprint away unopposed.
Carter finished the move to equalise with just five minutes remaining, before Flanigan's winner was denied by the cross bar moments later.
