The 15-year-old tennis sensation starred at the Copper City Tennis Club on Saturday and Sunday, winning the title comfortably over Akiko Nishi and Jessica Byrne.
Braithwaite, who comes from a rich background filled with tennis, was happy with how she played despite her knee flarring up again.
"I was playing pretty well in the tournament but unfortunately hurt my knee at 6-1 5-2 in the final," she said. "My opponent was good enough to let me win the last game which was very generous. "It's still a bit sore, I injured it playing touch football a few months ago."
Emma believes tennis something she will pursue socially as opposed to professionally, but is eager to improve her impressive game.
"It's not very consistent yet," she said. "I thought I played pretty well over the weekend but I know I've got to become more consistent. "Getting everything back and my returns are still something I can look at."
Emma, who idolises Australian Sam Stosur, thrives on her family's passion for tennis. "Mum (Theresa Braithwaite) does a lot for the tennis club and it (tennis) is something our family travels for regularly," she said.
"I've been playing since I was five but I'm interested in a wide variety of sports."
