Initial airborne analysis of Broughton Creek, 30km south of the historic uranium mine, defined radioactive occurrences - and finding confirmed by further rock chip testing in the area.
Broughton Minerals will work jointly on the project with Orion Metals and hold five exploration permits in the vicinity of Broughton Creek.
Drilling activities to determine the grade of Rare Earth Elements at the site will start this week and take up to a fortnight to complete.
