The reigning premiers ran in nine tries to two, an ominous sign for the team's first run since March, to win 53-12.
Tries to Timmy Daniels and Ray Watene saw Euros lead 12-0 at the first break, before Pana Ravouvou extended their lead in the second quarter to 17-0.
The Euros' attacking juggernaut got rolling in the third quarter, landing three more unanswered tries to lead 34-0.
Cloncurry's Hamish Chrisp took it upon himself to get Cloncurry on the board, charging down a Euros kick to score in a rare highlight on the night.
Euros ran in two more tries in the final term, before Chrisp completed his double with another determined effort.
A late Euros try to Nathaniel Tavaga after the siren saw the score blowout past 50, as last season's champions stamped their authority on the competition in week one.
Euros captain James George said there were still minor details to correct, but overall he was pleased with the outing.
``It was a good hit out for our first blow,'' he said.
``We've still got stuff to work on, especially around the team.
``I think they (Cloncurry) were struggling a bit, they only just put their team together whereas we've been training longer,'' George said.
George highlighted several players who thrived in new roles.
``Ray Ray (Watene) and Maron Huntly stepped up in new roles tonight,'' he said.
``We have a few new guys that haven't played before and they showed good signs tonight.''
Results - Euros 53 (David Tautalaga 3, Ray Watene, James George, Timmy Daniels, Nathaniel Tavaga, Michaele Iopu) d Cloncurry 12 (Hamish Chrisp 2)
