The nine-year-old topped the charts for three events after a stellar 2013 season in the pool.
The talented junior was also chosen as Flinders Shire's female recipient of the North Queensland Sports Foundation BHP Billiton Sports Bursary, despite being nominated against athletes up to eight years her senior.
Her success in the pool, which included ranking in the North Queensland top 10 list for seven events, propelled her to a Swimming Australia Junior Excellence (JX) Gold Star standard.
JX recognises, rewards and encourages children aged from nine to 13 who accomplish times set by Swimming Australia.
Fellow Hughenden swimmer Tristan Creagh, who was also ranked among the top 10 North Queensland nine-year-old swimmers for seven events, also received JX Gold standard.
Hughenden swimmers are well represented in the North Queensland top 10 rankings list, with Cody Stitt, 13, ranked for nine events, Jamie-Lee Coward, 14, for seven events, and Aiden Creagh, 15, for six events.
Other Hughenden swimmers to receive Junior Excellence in 2013 included Phoebe Creagh, Shanelle Flute (silver standard), Zachary Johnson (bronze), Maia McCarthy, Eloise Mills and Lawsen Ford (green).
Anjeleah, Cody, Phoebe and Tristan have been invited to travel to Proserpine on Sunday with the 2013 McDonald's Level 2 Development Team.
This achievement means they have met the JX Gold Cap or JX Silver T-shirt criteria for the NQ Regional Development Level 2.
North Queensland Swimming publicity officer Tracey Edwards praised the effort of the remote club, saying swimmers had been in the pool since it reopened for the season in September.
``Our kids are doing us so proud,'' Ms Edwards said.
``They train hard and put in the effort under the guidance of their coaches, Jane Charuba and Lynette `Rocket' McCarthy.
``These two coaches are building a team where each child is an important member of the club and it is showing with the results the club is getting.''
The Hammerheads' next major meet is on Saturday and Sunday, when they will travel to Richmond with the biggest team of the competition.
Young swimmers will get the chance to meet international swimming icon Lisa Curry as part of her One Life, Once Chance Aussie Roadtrip.
