Premature Molly turned one month old and weighed in at one kilogram.
"We are so happy she hit the one kilogram mark. I bought cake as a huge thank you celebration for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit staff," Mrs Jackman said.
"We have had a few scares with her but thank goodness she has battled on."
Molly was born at 24 weeks and has had to fight for survival, as reported in The North West Star.
Ms Jackman said Molly would need ventilation for at least another four weeks.
A fundraiser was being held in Brisbane this weekend for Molly and her family to raise much-needed funds for transport, accommodation and other expenses.
"Molly's Beauty Day was the brain child of my friend Helene Sheehan who owns Lucy Lane beauty salon in Kedron, Brisbane," Ms Jackman said.
All proceeds from beauty treatments, raffles and an auction would be donated to the Jackman family.
