A spokesperson from the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) said the road will remain closed for safety reasons.
"A minor concrete culvert on the state-controlled Cloncurry-Dajarra Road, about 95 kilometres south of Cloncurry, has partially collapsed," the spokesperson said.
"We’re working with Cloncurry Shire Council to inspect the site and determine what repair works are required."
"The road will remain closed until further notice in both directions to ensure the safety of motorists and minimise traffic delays."
