THE Dye With Style hair salon is proving its dedication to the community by donating part of its February earnings to Relay for Life.

The salon, which recently changed hands, has pledged 10 per cent of earnings from February 1 to 7 to Relay for Life team Linda's Convoy.
Relay for Life team co-ordinator and Linda's Convoy team leader Crystal Smith said her goal was to double the fund-raising total from last year.
The Relay for Life event isn't until September, but that hasn't stopped Ms Smith, who said she had been planning her fund-raising since before last year's event even took place.
``All day, every day, 365 days my focus is Relay for Life,'' she said.
Ms Smith's mother sadly lost her battle with cancer last April.
As well as committing to local charity, the new look Dye With Style team offers quality services at friendly prices.
New manager Ushi Patel, who made the move to Mount Isa from Canberra, said she enjoyed a challenge and had worked in Sydney, Melbourne, Longreach and the Gold Coast.
A hairdresser for almost six years she is stepping up to the manager's position in Mount Isa after working at a five-star salon.
