Police were alerted to the death at a Skewes Street address at 11.40am this morning.
They said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
Information released by Police on Sunday stated Kyle Coleman was last seen leaving a Skewes Street address last Saturday.
Police wouldn’t confirm whether it was the same address where they found his deceased friend today.
Since Sunday the search effort for Kyle Coleman has shifted from Mount Isa’s Leichhardt River and surrounding bushland to a property outside of Camooweal.
Police said they were aware of information that Kyle was seen on Undilla Station, about 100km north east of Camooweal, last Friday afternoon and had extended the search to areas between Mount Isa and the property.
Lindsay Miller, Undilla Station, confirmed Kyle had been at his property on Friday.
He said he believed he saw Kyle about lunchtime, but said he could not comment further as police were investigating. Inspector Kidd said every resource, including the RACQ NQ Rescue Helicopter Service and other aircraft, was deployed for today’s search and would resume again tomorrow at first light. Searches of Mount Isa and doorknocks of the area will also continue tomorrow.
Kyle was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with a white motif, white flat cap (‘Obey’ brand), red pair of board shorts and skate shoes. He is described as being Caucasian with sandy coloured short hair, brown eyes, slim build and approximately 173cm tall.
