The Cloncurry and District Race Club hosted St Patrick's Day celebrations at the weekend, but it was Royes and Kropp who had the luck of the Irish on their side.
The duo came up trumps in the BenchMark 70 Handicap (1000 metre) and Open Handicap (1200m) to claim two wins from the five-race card as Cloncurry held its first meeting of the season.
Dimi The Dancer held off stablemate Bolton in the day's feature race to win by three lengths, while Steinberg continued where he left off in 2013 registering his fifth career win.
Steinberg was forced to work hard for his, edging out Ray Hermann's Light Warrior and Grant Wiles Left Behind by less than a length.
Kropp wasn't the only jockey in the money on Saturday, with Alannah Badger also enjoying a fruitful outing.
The team of Badger and Hermann took out the Class B Handicap (1000m) with Speck of Gold while Smooth General came up trumps in the BenchMark 65 Handicap (1200m).
Jay Morris Menelaion saluted in the day's first race the 1000m Maiden.
Aaron Spradau rode the $1.70 favourite to a photo finish win, outpointing Transfusion from James Cairns stable.
