A police officer was hit with a bag of drugs thrown off a 14th-floor balcony during a raid on a Gold Coast apartment on the weekend.

Police also found a Taser made to look like a mobile phone, counterfeit Australian currency, amphetamines, drug equipment and $7095 cash.
Officers from the Gold Coast major and organised crime squad raided the Surfers Paradise apartment as part of an investigation into the local drug trade.
They allege one of the occupants of the apartment threw a plastic bag containing drugs off the balcony, which then hit an officer below.
A 40-year-old Surfers Paradise man, a 39-year-old Labrador man, and a 30-year-old Broadbeach man have been charged with various offences, along with a 28-year old Bundall woman.
The charges relate to drug possession, property-related crimes and possession of counterfeit money.
In a separate Gold Coast drug investigation, a 54-year-old Tallebudgera man was charged after police found $290,845 stashed in a Burleigh storage facility.
They also found 2.5 kilograms of cannabis, a small amount of cocaine and equipment used to package drugs.
Police said they were investigating others who might be linked to the case.
The 54-year-old is expected to face the Southport Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
