Inspector Trevor Kidd said detectives were still working to find more information about the missing 59-year-old after searches of his workplace and residence at the Argylla Discovery Caravan Park last week provided no new information about his whereabouts.
``We've done a statewide broadcast to police to keep an eye out for him and contact us if they spot him around the place, that's all we can do at this time,'' he said.
Mr Mutimbe is the second Mount Isan to go missing this year.
Last month police and emergency services launched a massive search for missing 17-year-old Mount Isa teen Kyle Coleman.
Inspector Kidd said during his time in the city he's seen police work on up to three missing person cases at one time.
He said there was a tendency for people to head out bush from the city and never return.
