Female jockeys Tamara Tincknell and Cassie Kropp claimed four of the five races on the day, as Mount Isa residents rallied behind group 1-winning horse Shoot Out who was in attendance on the day.
The Brisbane-based Tincknell who struck a distinct love affair with Buchanan Park claimed the day's first two races with Patrick Inwood's Fate For Sure and Grant Wiles' Tempting Offer.
It was the Wiles-trained mare who was the surprise of race one with odds of $17.
``It was real easy she ran very well,'' Tincknell said of Tempting Offer.
``The instructions were to ride back a little bit but she started so well and got herself comfortable she just maintained her position stationed on the inside and gave me a nice cart into the race.
``I had a lot of horse at the top of the straight and she let down beautifully.
``The form wasn't too bad coming in but in saying that it wasn't the easiest race either.''
Tinckell backed Tempting Offer for greater heights, suggesting ``she'll go through the grades''.
Female ally Kropp would team with Steven Royes in races three and five for winners, with Pandaconi and Dimi The Dancer both first past the post.
Six-year-old mare Pandaconi beat Cheers Browe (Jay Morris) and Mimi's Rocket (Inwood) in the Class 1 Handicap over 1100m.
Dimi The Dancer's victory in the Open Handicap is his second in as many weeks, following earlier success in Cloncurry on St Patrick's Day.
Denise Ballard's stables also had a win on the day, with Eskervinth, ridden by Dan Ballard, claiming the Class 3 Plate.
