Three people have been charged over the alleged kidnapping and torture of a 25-year-old man on the Gold Coast last month.

Gold Coast detectives allege two men and a woman kidnapped the 25-year-old victim from Arundel and tortured him in bushland off Ashmore Road at Molendinar on March 24.
Police conducted forensic examinations at the scene and at a property in Benowa overnight Tuesday.
The trio - a Parkwood man, 42, a Molendinar man, 37, and a woman from Nerang, 24 - have been charged with kidnapping, torture, robbery and drug offences.
They have also been charged under the Newman Government’s VLAD (Vicious Lawless Association Disestablishment) laws, meaning they could face an extra 15 years in jail on top of any prison sentence they receive for the other offences.
The trio were due to face the Southport Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning.
Police said investigations were continuing.
