A 24-year-old New Farm man has been charged with grievous bodily harm after punching a man near Roma Street Transit Centre in Brisbane last Sunday, April 6.

The accused is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday.
Just after 1:30am on April 6, a 50-year-old man was at a bus stop on Roma Street, near the intersection of Parkland Boulevard, when he was hit, causing him to fall to the ground, striking his head.
The man was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and remains in a serious condition.
