Widely billed as Australia's most successful Australian country group, since joining forces eight years ago sisters Brooke, Sam and Mollie McClymont have taken the country music world by storm.
``We're excited to be making our first trip ever to Mount Isa for the rodeo,'' said middle sister and bass player Sam.
``It's going to be so much fun and we can't wait to play for all the awesome country music fans there.''
The McClymonts are multi-award-winning stars, with their most recent accolades including the APRA 2013 Country Work of the Year ( Piece of Me ); 2013 CMA of Australia Top-selling Album of the Year and Video Clip of the Year; and two ARIA awards.
Rodeo manager Natalie Flecker said she was thrilled to confirm the McClymonts' performance on August 9.
``We are shaking up the entertainment on offer and introducing a festival-style entertainment line-up for Friday night [August 8],'' Ms Flecker said.
Friday night's line-up includes Kaylens Rain, comedy act Buddy Goode, Luke Austen and Kaylee Bell, and Mike Carr and the Allstars.
``This year's rodeo will have more variety of entertainment and more performers on stage,'' Ms Flecker said.
``We plan to get adrenalin pumping in the arena on Friday night and then kick off the entertainment in the forecourt.''
Rounding out the entertainment will be Townsville-based KING, who will support the McClymonts on Saturday night.
The group is led by Angus Milne, whose vocal talents and song writing is supported by lead guitarist Jason Baillie, bass guitarist Waqa Vananalagi and drummer Constantine Hagiaglou.
Fifth band member Stevie Mitchell infuses hip-hop lyrics with the unique sound of a didgeridoo to create music that can best be described as country meets city.
Since releasing the debut EP and official music video It Goes Around , KING chart topped as No. 1 on Triple J Unearthed for a number of weeks.
This year's Mount Isa Mines Rotary Rodeo will run from August 8 to 10.
