Chong died in 2012 after a long battle with cancer, and Wanderers hope the day not only recognises and celebrates his life but raises the awareness of cancer in men.
There will be exhibition matches between Town and Black Stars under 7s (3.30pm), followed by the Black Stars and Wanderers under 13s game at 4.10pm.
This will lead into the Mid-West A-grade match between Wanderers and Black Stars at 5.15pm, which Wanderers president Matt Watts knows will be a tough encounter.
``Every encounter we have with Black Stars is also tough and goes down to the wire,'' Watts said.
But the team hopes that this occasion will motivate them to repeat last year's success in the inaugural running of the event.
``It has been spoken about at training, so I have no doubts that the players will be motivated and rise to the occasion to honour their friend Trevor,'' Watts said.
Chong's brother-in-law, Anton Saltmere, said Chong was more than just a friend to a lot of the players at the club, more like a brother.
``We have really tried to build the club and team on mateship and family, which has obviously helped us through these recent tough times,'' Saltmere said.
Saltmere will be expected to lead from the front in the match, as the inspirational pivot has been crucial for them of late.
``Anton [Saltmere] always leads us from the front, both on and off the field, so we will be looking to him for leadership once again,'' Watts said.
A commemorative trophy donated by Chong's family will be presented to the winners, as well as the man of the match on the day.
``The family has donated these trophies as a thank you to all the support they have received over the past couple of years,'' Saltmere said.
Although the day is primarily about Chong, all life members and families of the club are encouraged to join the team tomorrow.
There will be a marquee set up near the canteen, with free entry, finger food and cold drinks provided for members, Watts said.
``We'd like to invite all people associated with the Wanderers to the match, as well as the Barkly Hotel for a barbecue following the day's proceedings,'' he said.
Despite all his representative achievements for Mount Isa in the Foley Shield and Outback Carnivals, Chong's greatest achievement was still winning the premiership.
This speaks volumes of the character he was, and the lasting memory he has left behind for all involved in this proud club.
