The day gave the 21-strong field of athletes a chance to take part in events that have never been contested before in Mount Isa.
Pole vault records copped a battering as all seven jumpers cleared personal best heights.
Jade Scott, 13, jumped a 20cm PB while setting a record height of 1.70m.
Fifteen-year-olds Josh Scott (1.70m) and CJ Brice-Houseman (2.20m) both set new PBs as brothers Dan, 14, and Andrew, 13, Butler jumped 1.90m and 1.60m respectively.
David Scott set the crowd alight with an awe-inspiring 2.80m jump, setting an all-time personal best and smashing the club record.
Coach Ken Dickson also broke the 45-49 years record jumping 2.10m, setting a new PB in the process.
On the track, 11-year-old Michelle Bracs blitzed the field with a time of 10.5 seconds in the 70m sprint, taking 0.4 seconds off the old record.
Kale “Blackflash” Johnson kept the track running hot, knocking 0.06s off his own 100 yard time (10.3s) set at the ANQ Championships last year.
Club newcomer Reuben Westerman took 2:06 minutes off the 12-year boys 3000m time finishing in 15:59.3 minutes.

Official weights have changed over the years but that didn’t stop Mount Isa athletes smashing the throwing records.
Breanna “Cannon” Waerea, 12, (26.79m in the 750gm discus), Channai Hall, 13, (18.62m in the 4kg hammer) and Erin “Beast” Faithful, 15, (9.30m in the 4kg shot put), all entered the record books.
