For the work to be conducted safely the restaurant will close from July 9 for about three weeks, with the drive-through opening shortly before the main restaurant area. Collins Foods’ chief executive Kevin Perkins said while Mount Isa would be without KFC for a short while, the new modern restaurant would be worth the wait.
“We are regularly reviewing the experience our customers have when they come to our restaurants to ensure we offer a pleasant and efficient store environment,” Mr Perkins said.
