The jury of seven men and five women has been deliberating since last Thursday, although they chose not to sit over the weekend.
Mr Baden-Clay is accused of killing his wife Allison at their home in the affluent western Brisbane suburb of Brookfield on April 19, 2012, and dumping her body on the banks of Kholo Creek at Anstead about 14 kilometres away.
The former real estate agent has pleaded not guilty.
The trial entered its sixth week on Monday, with the jury resuming deliberations.
Mr Baden-Clay's sister Olivia Walton and brother Adam Baden-Clay arrived at the courthouse on Monday to await the verdict, as did Mrs Baden-Clay's friends and relatives.
Television crews are camped outside the court complex, poised to break into programming to report the verdict.
