Patrolling police searched the car and found the haul after it was seen parking illegally on Beach Road about 6pm on Friday, during which the haul was allegedly found.
A further search of a Southport home allegedly uncovered a quantity of cannabis.
A 62-year-old Southport woman was charged with three counts each of trafficking in dangerous drugs and possessing dangerous drugs and one count each of possessing property obtained from trafficking in a dangerous drug and possessing anything used in the commission of a crime.
She will appear in Southport Magistrates Court on September 12.
