Police have seized drugs, guns and a large haul of ammunition from the home of a Rebels Motorcycle Club member on the Gold Coast.

Officers from the anti-bikie squad Taskforce Maxima carried out the raid on the Helensvale property about 9am, where they allegedly seized a semi-automatic pistol, ammunition, gun parts and a pistol crossbow.
Police also allege cannabis and drug-related equipment was at the address.
It is understood the arrested man, a 62-year-old, lives at the Helensvale property but is a member of a NSW Rebels chapter.
Detective Acting Superintendent Brendan Smith said the man was not licensed to carry the weapons.
“The unlawful possession of semi-automatic handguns demonstrates the criminal behaviour of the participants of these gangs. One only has to ask ‘why do they need them?’” he said.
The man has been charged with weapons and drugs offences. He will face Southport Magistrates Court on July 25.
