Fire urban search crews located the body in the Pebble Beach Drive property around lunchtime on Wednesday.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency spokeswoman said excavators had been used to sort through the rubble over the last few days.
Police said the body was located in debris, but the victim was yet to be formally identified.
Forensic officers will continue to examine the scene.
Emergency services were initially called to the two-storey house at 3.53am on Sunday, following reports the home was engulfed in flames.
Police said the fire appeared to have been deliberately lit, but was not considered to be suspicious.
Investigators are preparing a report for the Coroner.
