Mr Coutis, from Rolling Success, visited patients and staff at the Mount Isa Hospital yesterday.
Born with a severe disability that rendered his legs unusable, Mr Coutis has overcome immense adversity in his life and defied medical opinion.
Since his legs were amputated when he was 17, Mr Coutis uses a skateboard and travels internationally as a motivational speaker.
Mr Coutis has shared his story and inspiration with more than six million people in some 150 cities and is scheduled to speak at the inaugural expo today and tomorrow.
He frankly describes the challenges he has overcome with humour, sharing his philosophy: If I can, you can. Nothing is impossible.
Mr Coutis will share his personal insight into bullying treatment during his Expo presentation on Friday, July 25.
He will then focus his message on overcoming challenges and getting the best out of life during his presentation on Saturday, 26 July.
Mr Coutis joins nationally renowned indigenous chef Mark Olive and Isa local former NRL player Scott Prince who will also be appearing at the expo.
