The thieves drove a Nissan Pathfinder through the glass doors of DFO on Airport Drive, Hendra, about 2.30am on Thursday.
The group tried in vain to steal an ATM, only managing to move it a short distance.
“The ATM was damaged, but not stolen,” police said.
The thieves drove off in the four-wheel-drive.
