A police spokeswoman said the man fronted court on Monday morning and would re-appear on September 8.
Officers allege the staffer indecently dealt with four separate children on different occasions earlier this year.
Principal Michael Senior is expected to make a statement on the matter on Thursday afternoon.

Quest Newspapers has reported that students and staff have been offered counselling, with Principal Michael Senior writing to parents about the allegations.
The charges are reported to relate to incidents from earlier in the year, with Mr Senior advising parents the staff member was in police custody.
“The detectives asked for, and immediately received, the college’s full co-operation in investigating these allegations,” the newspaper quoted Mr Senior as writing.
“The college is devastated by this matter and is doing everything possible to support the alleged victims and their families.
“Because this matter is now before the courts, it is inappropriate for the College to make any comment that could interfere with the legal process.”
When contacted by Fairfax Media, the school declined to comment.
A police spokesman had no further information on the charges.
