CONCORDIA held on to win 3-2 in its clash with Parkside in the Mount Isa Men’s Soccer Association clash on Saturday. Parkside was left to lament a slow start after fielding a different line-up to recent weeks, with Concordia kicking two goals to take a 2-0 lead. Parkside began to play the game on its terms and eventually scored through some hard work from Shaun Jones. Parkside had plenty of chances but saw Concordia get its third to all but seal the game. Parkside never gave up and after Concordia couldn’t clear the ball which fell to Corey Moon who blasted a goal to give his side a chance at 3-2. Parkside had much of the play in the last 10 minutes but couldn’t convert.
