Run over Saturday and Sunday, the Copper City Tennis Club will play host to numerous tennis stars including Thomas Fancutt and New Zealand’s Howard Ho.
Fancutt and Ho are the number one and two seeds respectively for the Australian Money Tournament Men’s Singles event, which has 16 applicants.
With bronze rankings points and more than $1000 worth of prize money on offer, players will no doubt need to bring their best.
Fancutt will back up in the AMT Men’s Doubles competition with partner Samuel White against tough duo CJ Beg and Andy Watterson.
In the minor events, Mount Isa athletes Thomas Braithwaite and Adam Moes are seeded one and two in the Men’s A Grade.
Action starts at 8am Saturday, with finals starting on the Sunday.
