St Joeys held their nerve against a fast-finishing 2PH Redbacks to win 22-19, with Rachel Horwood and Nicole Alexander starring.
Tiarne Hilton led START to an eight-goal (29-21) victory against Fantales, even though Hayleigh Campbell and Dneeka McLeod were outstanding.
In the day’s final match, Starbursts Dianne Marron and Jess Linnett led their side to a seven-goal victory (23-16) against Socialites.
Jamie-Lee Coltman (GK) and Glenys Smith (WD) kept the Socialites in it to the end.
