Bootsma, 21, has played three reserves games for the Thunder since being sacked by the Blues in June for a number of disciplinary indiscretions.

The final straw for his AFL club was him posting explicit photos on social media.

Bootsma was picked up from Peel at number 22 in the 2011 AFL Draft after playing just 13 colts games.

His dad, Brad, a former Dockers player, is the football manager at the Thunder.

Peel has also named Docker Michael Walters for his first game of football since he required ankle surgery after the Dockers round 3 loss to Hawthorn.

However, former Melbourne forward Colin Sylvia's chances of playing AFL finals this season look only slim. He injured a hamstring at training this week and looks set to be sidelined for several weeks.

The Thunder will need the help, with a massive list of outs, including Hayden Crozier and Max Duffy who have been named to play for the Dockers at Geelong and Alex Silvagni and Matt Taberner, who have been named as emergencies.

South Fremantle will be flying after beating East Fremantle by 43 points last week and running one of the flag fancies, Subiaco, to nine points the week before.

Swan Districts can forget about second spot if its loses to East Perth in Bunbury this weekend.

And the task of beating the Royals has been made difficult by changes made at the selection table.

The Swans have named Matthew Jukes and Adam Faulkner in the reserves after last week's (almost) 10-goal loss to West Perth.

But also out of the side come Blaine Boekhorst, Tallan Ames, Tim Geappen and Matt Riggio.

Last week's loss was the third poor performance the Black-and-Whites have put together on the trot.

The Royals weren't much better last week, losing to Subiaco by 28 points.

They have also been hit by AFL selections with Adam Carter and Ash Smith elevated to West Coast. However, they should get a player or two back from the Eagles' extended bench.

Claremont could consign Perth to the wooden spoon with a win this weekend.

The Tigers have hit form late in the season, winning four of their past five games. And they have been able to maintain the same side as the one that beat East Fremantle before their bye, in round 18.

The Demons are continually forced to make changes however, with another three this week after losing to Peel last Saturday by 65 points.

West Perth has a chance to put doubt in the mind of another foinals bound team with it plays East Fremantle this weekend.

Not that the Sharks will be full of confidence after last week's 43-point loss to South Fremantle.

Plus Bradd Dalziell and Ryan Lester-Smith have been forced out of the side, although Jamie McNamara returns for his first game since round 15.

The Falcons will be deserate to get another win on the board after a disappointing season, where only two of their seven wins have come from side sin the four.
