THOUSANDS of people pack Buchanan Park for the Mount Isa Mines Rotary Rodeo each year but only a few were lucky enough to watch the action from behind the chutes. From the hardened, experienced cowboys to the up-and-coming youngsters of the rodeo scene, the pressure and tension is palpable.
