Gordon’s score of 38 points was enough for her to secure the Bax Plumbing trophy.
Anne Sawczak (32 points) claimed the runners-up award, edging out fellow counterpart Cheryl Foot on a count back by recording a stronger back nine holes.
Foot claimed a ball in the rundown as did Gail Kum Sing (31 points) and Auretta Perrin (30 points).
Closest to the pin recipients were Perrin (2nd and 14th holes) and Gordon (18th hole).
Earlier in the week, Gail Kum Sing claimed Wednesday’s Ray White Rural trophy, recording 69 nett in the stroke event.
Liz Debney’s score of 72 nett saw her take home the runners-up award.
Closest to the pin awards went to Kum Sing (2nd and 12th) and Eva Gordon (14th).
Following the close of play, August’s monthly medals were decided with Ulla Allen coming up trumps in the Silver division with 70 nett.
Not to be outdone, Sheila Stewart’s 77 nett claimed the Bronze 1 and Liz Debney claimed Bronze 2 with 72 nett.
The putting champion was Angie Sciascia with 30 putts.
This weekend marks the final major event of the ladies’ season, as the Ladies Club Foursomes Championships will be held on Saturday and Sunday at the Mount Isa Golf Club.
