Horskins returned scores of 73 and 74 during the 36-hole two-day event, giving him a total score of 147, to beat the rest of the 53-strong field.
With a strong southerly breeze and strategically placed pins in the final round, solid scores were hard to come by.
Mount Isa’s Robbie Murphy (156 total) claimed the A grade title, ahead of runner-up Grant Poole and his 156.

The nett titles went to Phil Sweeney 138 (A grade), Gavin Goodall 143 (B grade) and Tom Foot 138 (C grade).
Murray Smith’s 66 nett on the first day was the strongest recorded while John Lodewyk’s 69 took out day 2’s award.
