BRIGHT splashes of hope, love and generosity painted Simpson Street yellow last week as students from the Spinifex State College Residential Campus sold fresh flowers for Daffodil Day. Tia Sollitt and Tamhian Rosser, both 14, spent all afternoon on Friday raising money for the Cancer Council with the bright yellow blooms which were air-freighted to Mount Isa for the fund-raiser.
