The choir comprises a group of orphaned children from Uganda who tour internationally.
Their performance is an energetic fusion of contemporary gospel, traditional African rhythm and a message of hope.
The choir is a part of Watoto Child Care Ministries and has been touring since 1994 as ambassadors for the millions of children in Africa, orphaned as a result of HIV/AIDS, war and poverty. Each child in the choir has suffered the loss of one or both parents but now live in Watoto Villages.
Since its inception, 66 choirs have travelled globally, providing the children with a bigger world view, an opportunity they would otherwise never get. The choirs have been to Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Europe, Asia and the US.
Their audiences have included royalty, presidents, ministers and common people alike.
