But the day belonged to jockey Rodney Sue-San, who steered home a treble, including victory in the feature race aboard Strumming for Julia Creek trainer Tanya Parry.
Inwood’s victory came with Pismo Beach, which won by two lengths in the 1000-metre Class 3 Plate.
Mount Isa hoop Tamara Tincknell rode the five-year-old gelding to victory.
Bawden’s success came in the 1400-metre benchmark 60 handicap, as well-backed seven-year-old Carry Me breezed to victory.
The sprinter, ridden by Shaun Morrison, won effortlessly by eight lengths ahead of the Terrence Hill-ridden Simple Task.
Rodney Sue-San rode three winners – Falszak in the 1100-metre maiden plate by four lengths, Garder La Foi in the 1200-metre class B handicap by eight lengths and Strumming in the 1200-metre open handicap by two lengths.
