For 10 days, we're issuing a different challenge to readers. It's all to celebrate Tigerair's new Brisbane-Darwin route, and every morning one lucky person will pick up a package for two, including flights, accommodation and entry to Crocosaurus Cove.

To enter, simply complete the challenge, and the winner will be chosen by a Brisbane Times judging panel, deemed to be the best and most creative answer. We'll publish a variety of entries, so get ready for a good laugh.

Today's challenge is pretty straight-forward: Send us a fun headline which might be applicable to Darwin - about anything, we don't care what. It can be hypothetical, true, made up. We don't mind as long as it's fun, and comes in headline format.

The mechanics of the giveaway are simple:

• To be in with a chance of winning, send your entry with details (name, age, mailing address, and contact numbers) to btcomps@brisbanetimes.com.au with "DARWIN – DAY 5" in the subject line.
• Within the body of the email, include your response to today's challenge: Send us a fun headline which might be applicable to Darwin.
• Please note that entries with the wrong subject line will not be valid.

The winner will be the one judged to be the most creative, and will be contacted by email or phone. The competition closes 9am Tuesday 9am, September 16, so be sure to get in quick.

Tigerair flights from Brisbane-Darwin are priced from $109 each way, and fares are consistently available on the Tigerair website. If fares are higher, it's due to demand for that particular flight, which is why it's good to book in early.

During special sales periods, Tigerair is promising even lower fares, so it's a handy tip to sign up to the airline's newsletter – also available via the website.

Crocosaurus Cove is in the heart of Darwin city, and is best known for its "Cage of Death". According to the theme park owners, it's the only cage in the world that brings people face to face with some of the largest saltwater crocodiles in captivity.

"Bring your bathers and swim with the crocs," they say. You can even take a friend. It mightn't be everybody's idea of a great holiday, but welcome to the Top End.

You'll also be staying in the heart of Darwin for two nights at Mantra Pandanas which offers a relaxed modern setting, just a few minutes from the Mitchell Street restaurant precinct and Smith Street Mall.

The recently refurbished apartments boast large private balconies from which to enjoy the Top End's famous sunsets and fantastic views over Darwin Harbour and the city.
