Marsh’s time of 41 minutes and 57 seconds was slower than his last attempt but fast enough to claim victory in the 1.5km run, 15km bike ride, 1.5km run event.
Runner-up Michael Palmer completed the first run leg equal with Marsh (6.09) and two seconds ahead of Tammy Green.
Neither Palmer nor Green could keep pace with Marsh on the cycle leg though, as the champion smashed out a 29.38 split for the bike leg.
Returns of 32.10 and 37.14 for Palmer and Green respectively weren’t quick enough to keep pace with Marsh, who recorded a near identical 6.10 for the second run leg.
Palmer finished with a time of 44.43, ahead of Green in 47.20, who crushed the last run leg in only 3.5.
In the 5km event, Felicity Milligan again proved her class, winning with a time of 26.16, ahead of second placed Kristy Lanser (29.31) and Natalie Blyth (33.30).
The final event for the day was the 3km fun run, which saw Tristan Nicholson win in a time of 13.56, edging out Darcy Green (14.02) and Ella Condren (14.32).
